ComEd Training Center’s Easy To Operate Audio Visual Technology
ComEd, a division of Exelon, is one of America’s largest utilities. The company is headquartered in Chicago with more than 3.8 million customers across the northern Illinois region. In 2012, ComEd launched one of the largest grid modernization and Smart Grid programs in the nation, supporting thousands of jobs and driving innovation to meet evolving customer needs.
Create a state of the art training facility using the latest in audio visual integration for multiple rooms, multiple functions with easy to use product standardization. The client wanted everyone – trainer or user to – to be able to use the room regardless of their technology expertise.
In total there were 12 different training rooms and spaces designed for training employees on a various company disciplines from meter reading, cable welding and splicing to linemen safety training.
